I Must Think Like Who!

After we were married, all my intentions were good and I wanted to do the best thing for my new wife, but my best intentions many, many times caused misunderstandings and emotional pain. It took me ten years to learn I have to think like my wife.

1 Peter 3:
7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

My first training for being a husband came when I found the book " The Act of Marriage" by Tim and Beverly Lahaye. I began to learn what my wife needed and wanted.

Experience is not the best teacher. Learning to be a Husband by experience was painful. It is better to first educate yourself about marriage! It's the husband 's responsibility. It is the first step to heaven on earth.
