What Religion will get you to Heaven? Will your religion get you to Heaven? Can you get to Heaven through all religions?

Religion is a confusing subject! If I were looking for God and a way to get to Heaven, I wouldn't know where to turn. Most religions cause trouble. People will fight over their religion, that's not what Jesus taught.

Turn on the TV and there is more religion than you know what to do with. Which would you choose? Which is correct? Is only one right? Are they all right? Do I need a religion anyway to get to Heaven?

The thing I see about most all the religious shows on TV is they want to separate you from your money. Some say "sow a seed", "give a first fruits offering", "ask for their miracle spring water" and many other ways to separate you from your money. They all want you to sow your offerings through them and they say God will bless you. I think these are the kind of people Jesus threw out of the Temple in Matt 21:12.

The "prince of the power of the air" (Ephesians 2:1) (Satan), old smut face himself is a great lover of religion. It creates confusion in people's minds and thoughts about God. God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:32) so then it must be Satan. James 3: says" "14But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work".

Now God does want us to give, Luke 6:38 does say we should give, but Luke 6:28-30 tells us who to give to. I don't hear those TV preachers talking about giving the Bible way. Giving shows a reflection of our heart condition. That is the thing God is interested in, He doesn't need our money. The thing that causes most problems can be found in I Timothy 6:10, be sure to read the whole verse.

The Bible says pure religion is James 1:27 "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world". I don't like to be called religious because what Jesus offers is much more. But if it is religion it would be Pure Religion, the kind that involves doing for others, read Luke 6:27-30 again.

What Jesus offers is salvation. Salvation that will take us to Heaven when we trust in what He did on our behalf. He gave us that free choice. He gives us a new heart, you might say. To help us be able to live up to what Jesus said in Luke 6: 27 "But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, 28Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you", to Love our enemies.

Religions of the world say "Do, and then live" (they kill you if you don't do as they say). Religion from Heaven says "Live, and then do" God offers life through Jesus, then the life we live shows others what we believe.

No "religion" will get you to Heaven! Religion is man-made. Only in your trusting in the price that Jesus paid will get you to Heaven! Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved".

The Pilgrims that came to the New World did not have a religion, they had a faith in Jesus Christ. They were willing to leave their country of birth to escape the influence of the Church of England that dictated how they were to worship. So what did the Pilgrims believe?
